As if that weren't enough, Team Captain Brian Buck
has done rather well at mountain bike racing:

He won First Overall in his first MTB race
(30 riders) that he entered.

He placed 12th place out of 130 overall - 6th in age group
and 7th place out of 90 overall - 1st in age group
in two other events during his first season on a
mountain bike.
Captain Brian Buck of Team SPIF
Among other events, Brian really enjoyed participating in
the 12 Hours of Pando with teammate Erich in 1995.
He has placed 2nd in his age group at the Iceman.

His new bike, named the Harrier, has helped
his mountain bike performance.

Here Brian is riding near Freeland with (L to R):
Matt Assenmacher - a friend and frame builder from Flint
Kevin Deagon - we often did the Wolverine 200 with him
and Greg Lemond - cycling legend.

Here Brian is negotiating the terms of the
TV 5 Sports Challenge.  It aired during the sports
section of the nightly local news.  They decided that
Brian would do 3 laps to Art Neil's 2 laps.
Sound fair to you?  Art was a sandbagger by the way.

Now continue with the next individual member of the Team:
