Detailed Description:
We received
notification that harrisonremc.com customers were having issues sending email.
Incoming email has no issues. While investigating it was discovered that
Harrison REMC has their own local Exchange Server that we relay email
to, covering their Incoming POP Mail. Apparently they are using Global
Crossing, mail.globalcrossing.net, for their Outgoing SMTP Mail.
After speaking with a Global Crossing Rep she informed me that it
did appear that the issue was on their end and asked that someone from
Harrison REMC place a trouble ticket call into their Support Dept.
I have spoken with one
of our Harrison REMC contacts and passed this information along. I
have also asked that I be contacted during the troubleshooting
process for confirmation that their service is running or to provide
additional support. I will update everyone as soon as I'm informed.
Customer Impact:
All harrisonremc.com
email accounts attempting to "send" email.
Incoming email is fully
functional.
This issue will only
affect users that have an email address of ***@harrisonremc.com.
Customers that use ***@epowerc.net will not be affected.
